I was one of the principal designers on a fantastic charity initiative by Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm. Coinciding with the Blu-ray release of The Force Awakens, fifty replica BB-8 models were 3D printed and each uniquely designed, inspired by the theme Best of British. Working to briefs from celebrities including Simon Pegg, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, I created digital concept art for the models, the physical painting of the BB8's and assisted at the launch event, where these statues were auctioned to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
